A new clip from director Luke Scott’s upcoming sci-fi/horror thriller movie Morgan has just hit. Scott is the son of legendary Alien and Blade Runner director Ridley Scott, and Morgan is his first big-screen effort.

The movie stars Kate Mara (Fantastic Four, The Martian) Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch), Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones), Boyd Holbrook (Narcos, Wolverine 3), Toby Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger) and Paul Giamatti (Amazing Spider-Man 2). Ridley Scott, Michael Schaefer and Mark Huffam will be producing the movie penned by Seth W. Owen (The Runaround).

In the clip below, Paul Giamatti is pushing Anya Taylor-Joy’s Morgan's (who happens to be a super-smart bio-engineered human with synthetic DNA who also boasts some terrifying telekinetic powers) buttons about her feelings on being terminated. Not surprisingly, she doesn’t like the idea one bit. Kate Mara plays a risk-management consultant who travels to a secret location to assess whether to terminate Morgan.

A corporate risk-management consultant has to decide and determine whether or not to terminate an artificial being’s life that was made in a laboratory environment.

Morgan will open in theaters on Sept. 2.
