The monster squad leaves the hotel and takes to the seas, and apparently the skies, in the third installment of the Hotel Transylvania series. In the new trailer for Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, vampire/hotel owner Count Dracula (Adam Sandler) is lonely and looking for a date. As his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez) tells him: "You need a vacation from running everyone else's vacation." So, she books him on a surprise cruise. Well, him and the rest of the monster gang.

As the Count reluctantly goes on the cruise, the monsters enjoy monster volleyball, exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans. And although they're not on the Love Boat, Dracula then discovers fireworks in the form of the ship's captain, Ericka (Kathryn Hahn).

But his new love interest is not who she seems. In fact, Ericka is actually a descendant of Dracula's arch nemesis, Abraham Van Helsing, and the cruise is an elaborate trap to kill the Count and all his monster friends. Still, that doesn't mean they can't enjoy the buffet.

Also returning to join the fun are Mavis’ husband Jonathan (Andy Samberg), their son Dennis (Asher Blinkoff), Griffin the Invisible Man (David Spade), Wayne (Steve Buscemi) and Wanda Werewolf (Molly Shannon), Frank (Kevin James) and his wife Eunice (Fran Drescher), Murray the Mummy (Keegan-Michael Key), Dracula’s dad Vlad (Mel Brooks), and Blobby (voiced by director Genndy Tartakovsky).

Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation hits theaters July 13, 2018.
