While He-Man is getting a live-action remake on the big screen, his twin sister (traditionally) She-Ra is getting an animated reboot on the small one.
DreamWorks Animation Television and Netflix have unveiled a first look at the new series She-Ra and the Princess of Power, to air on Netflix later this year. Check out some of the pictures below.

In this reboot of the '80s series, a magical sword transforms an orphan girl (is she still related to He-Man?) into the warrior She-Ra, who unites a rebellion against evil. This new version of She-Ra is being run by Noelle Stevenson (Lumberjanes, Nimona) and has been described as "a modern take on the ‘80s girl power icon for a new generation of young fans."
The new show features the voice acting talents of Aimee Carrero, AJ Michalka, and Marcus Scribner.
She-Ra and the Princess of Power airs on Netflix Nov. 16.
UPDATED: An earlier version of this story mistakenly noted that She-Ra is traditionally He-Man's cousin.
