Dan Bush (The Signal) is offering fright flick fans a different kind of suburban horror experience with his latest paranormal thriller, The Vault. It seems a trip to the local bank reveals something disturbingly dark lurking in this financial institution's haunted basement.

We already descended into this compelling new indie horror film's newest trailer, starring James Franco as a bored bank manager confronting a reckless posse of thieves, and now FilmRise has unpacked an unsettling new redband (for language) clip to absorb.

Pry open the official synopsis:

“In order to save their brother Michael’s life, the Dillon sisters, Leah and Vee have organized a bank robbery, but when the upstairs vault doesn’t have enough money to cover Michael’s debt, on the advice of Assistant Bank Manager Ed Maas, they drill into the downstairs vault. But the bank’s basement hides a terrible secret and before long, the Dillons have to choose whether to face the police outside or the terrible supernatural forces in the vault below.”

Have a peek into the darkness inside The Vault and tell us if this possible supernatural sleeper is on your radar. Also starring Francesca Eastwood (Final Girl), Taryn Manning (Orange Is the New Black), and Scott Haze (Midnight Special), The Vault opens in limited release on September 1.
