If you’ve been jonesing for some high-profile FPS horror action, this year’s E3 must look like a godsend.

Bethesda Softworks has dropped trailers for both Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and the VR title Doom VFR. As expected, they both look fantastically terrifying. In the Wolfenstein sequel, players take control of a resistance fighter battling the lingering Nazi scourge in the United States. The new Wolfenstein will be hitting Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 27.

Doom VFR promises to be a throwback take on the franchise, with classic weapons (there better be a BFG in there somewhere) and classic monsters transported into a VR setting. If they can pull it off, it could be one heck of a horror story. Literally putting yourself in that world? Yeah, that's nightmare fuel. The game will be available on Playstation VR and VIVE platforms.
