Elisabeth Moss might be one of the top contenders for an Emmy as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for The Handmaid’s Tale, but there were aspects of filming that were incredibly difficult for her. That’s not a surprise; after all, anyone who has seen the show can attest to how difficult it could be to watch and how much Moss commits to her role.

But which scene was the most difficult for her? Moss revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the scene when Offred is in the car and sees her daughter, Hannah, was the hardest for her to film:

“Partially just physically, because I’m a moron, I decided to just give myself every single take 100 percent and throw myself around the car.” It wasn’t just physically challenging, though; Moss details how she absolutely loved the scene “and I really wanted to do it justice.” You can see the full interview clip over at EW's website.

Elisabeth Moss will be back for the second season of The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu. Additionally, you can tune into the Primetime Emmy Awards this Sunday, September 17, on NBC.
