Elisabeth Moss won the 2017 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work as Offred in The Handmaid’s Tale.

The multi-award-winning actress has won accolades like the Director's Choice Award for Virgin and the Equity Ensemble Award for Top of the Lake. However, she is best known as the winner of two Screen Actors Guild Awards for the mid-century modern-no-longer series Mad Men

In The Handmaid's Tale, Moss plays a former publisher turned unwilling surrogate for one of the leaders of the Republic of Gilead. She's at turns defiant or defeated, but no matter what, she's always thoughtful. Moss is a talent who deserves this win.
