Renowned billionaire Elon Musk recently had a closed-door meeting at the Pentagon, and now the SpaceX founder has offered up a hint at what could’ve been on the agenda. He seems to just be embracing the Tony Stark comparisons at this point.

After word of the meeting broke via CNN, Musk tweeted that the discussion centered on a “flying metal suit,” which could be a joke (he does enjoy a good Tony Stark comparison, you know) but could also be true. The guy has one of the most successful private space firms in existence in SpaceX, and is also leading the charge for electric transportation with Tesla — so an Iron Man suit isn’t that crazy, right?

For what it's worth, the Defense Department said the meeting was focused on “innovation” (hey, an Iron Man suit would certainly be innovative, right?). It’s apparently part of a series of meetings between the Defense Department and leaders in science and technology to talk about how the world is changing and where they think it might be headed.

Give Musk a few years for armor upgrades, and he might not even need a Dragon capsule to make it to Mars …
