One of the best shows on TV, Black Sails is slated to return with a highly anticipated Season 4 in January. While at New York Comic Con 2016 yesterday, Starz unleashed the first official trailer for the final season of their epic drama series.

Black Sails seamlessly meshes together the fictional pirates of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island (Captain Flint, Billy Bones, Long John Silver) with the real-life 18th century pirates who sailed the high seas (Anne Bonny, Jack Rackham, Charles Vane, Blackbeard). The show serves as a prequel to Stevenson's classic, being set 20 years before young Jim Hawkins embarked on an epic sea-faring voyage to find Captain Flint’s buried treasure.

Season 4 will pick up where the third season left off. Charles Vane (Zach McGowan) is dead and Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) is hell-bent on expelling the British from Nassau and to defeat them once and for all. There’s going to be lots of explosion, conflict and drama and more pirate-y stuff when the show returns, and you can bet your sweet @$s all your gold doubloons things aren’t going to sail smoothly for either our pirates or the British. Take a look at what's coming up in the fourth and final season of Black Sails, and let us know what you think:

Black Sails stars Toby Stephens, Luke Arnold, Hannah New, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Toby Schmitz, Clara Paget, Tom Hopper, Luke Roberts and Ray Stevenson. The series will return Jan. 29 on Starz.
