Two new trailers for the North American theatrical release of Attack on Titan: Part 1 & Part 2 has been released by FUNimation. The upcoming Japanese monster movie is based on Hajime Isayama’s hit manga series.

We’ve seen a couple of exciting trailers before, but they’ve all been in Japanese, with Japanese subtitles. So it’s pretty awesome to finally be able to understand what’s being said by the characters. Check out the official trailer and theatrical teaser below, and enjoy the glorious monster munching mayhem.

Mankind has retreated behind walls in the wake of the man-eating humanoid giants known as the Titans. After a century of relative peace, a young boy named Eren and his friends Armin and Mikasa venture to the wall’s edge with hopes of seeing what’s on the other side. Then the unthinkable happens: a titan larger and fiercer than any that have been seen before breaches the wall, and titans flood the city. The future looks bleak, but Eren may be humanity’s last hope against extinction.

The limited-run, two-part live-action Attack on Titan theatrical event will kick off with Part 1 on Sept. 30, with Part 2 beginning on Oct. 20. You can get your tickets here. Will you be heading to a theater near you to see the movie?
