Epic total eclipse marketing gimmick for Kingsman: The Golden Circle

In a brilliant marketing tie-in of astronomical promotions for Kingsman: The Golden Circle, 20th Century Fox has officially declared Monday, August 21 as "Golden Circle Day," honoring the sun's scintillating corona as the studio intentionally parks our pale white satellite over the sun's face for a minute or two, thus creating the Great American Eclipse.

In addition to the humorous declaration of orchestrating this heavenly observation to promote director Matthew Vaughn's superspy sequel opening September 22, a commemorative set of one-eyed Harry Hart eclipse glasses will also roll out for your viewing pleasure only during the celestial event's totality phase along the path of the moon's shadow.

In what is being called “The Greatest Movie Promo Ever,” 20th Century Fox has orchestrated a Solar Eclipse to promote Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The studio has also released a behind-the-scenes look into the process behind the visionary stunt, which will be a part of the their upcoming holiday, #GoldenCircleDay, this Monday.

20th Century Fox has also created a special set of “Harry Hart” sunglasses to view the eclipse. Without the use of these special sunglasses, the total eclipse could be the last thing you ever see. Happy Golden Circle Day!”
