With the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix film getting pushed back from November to next year to allow for reshoots, many fans are wondering what exactly is getting tweaked. Well, don’t expect answers from Jean Grey herself, because apparently even Dark Phoenix star Sophie Turner doesn’t know which sequences are getting redone, Digital Spy is reporting.

In an interview with Turner, who plays Jean Grey, the actress said that, as she understands it, the production is planning on “just a few bits and bobs.”

"To be honest, I don't even know what we're reshooting at the moment," said Turner. “So I couldn't really tell you much about that one.”

What she does know is that she’ll "be back in Montreal at some point soon, and that the Valentine's Day release date is quite a positive thing, because Black Panther got released on Valentine's Day."

X-Men: Dark Phoenix is an adaptation of one of the most popular story arcs in the original X-Men comic in which Jean Grey unleashes the full potential of her psychic and telekinetic powers and becomes a cosmic terror as a result. 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand previously took on the Dark Phoenix story, with results that one can charitably call mixed.

Actor Evan Peters, who plays Quicksilver, has promised that the tone of the upcoming X-Men film will be “much darker than the previous one, Apocalypse.”

Turner told Digital Spy something similar, explaining that this film will be "vastly different" from the previous outing.

"This movie is kind of a lot more emotion-based, much more grounded," she explained. "This one is really character-driven – a really emotional story about a girl battling with a deadly mix of mental health problems and being a superhero. It's such a departure from the last movie."

X-Men: Dark Phoenix hits theaters on February 14, 2019.
