EXCLUSIVE: Bryan Cranston and Jillian Bell on new animated series SuperMansion, Godzilla woes

We caught up with Bryan Cranston and Jillian Bell to talk about their new animated series SuperMansion at San Diego Comic-Con, and it sounds like the NSFW Justice League we’ve always wanted.

The Crackle series stars a who’s who of voice talent, which isn't much of a surprise considering it comes from Robot Chicken producers Stoopid Buddy Stoodios. Along with Cranston (who stars and produces), the series will also feature Keegan-Michael Key, Chris Pine, Seth Green, Jillian Bell, Ron Perlman and Anton Yelchin. Hey, if we can’t have Perlman in Hellboy 3 or Cranston as Lex Luthor, this might be the closest we ever get these two back to a superhero movie.

In our interview below, Cranston and Bell talk about the weirdness of the series and what it’s like to tackle a story about a group of dysfunctional superheroes who are (sometimes) far outside their prime, and are having trouble understanding the world around them. Also of note: Around the 3 minute mark, Cranston gets revved up about his character’s fate in Godzilla. Turns out, he wasn’t a huge fan.
