Delivering a dynamite pairing of SYFY WIRE and Alex Ross Art, we'll be stripping the shiny wrapper off many limited-edition Alex Ross lithos, rare variant covers, con-only surprises, behind-the-scenes videos, signed posters, intriguing interviews, and contest giveaways all year long.

Seeing that the annual pop culture pageantry known as San Diego Comic Con erupts in just two short weeks (July 18-22), we've been proud to host a weekly event showcasing stellar new Ross artwork produced specifically for this traditional Southern California spectacle.

Things definitely heated up this past Independence Day week as we showcased a flag-waving Captain America: Patriot fine art giclee and a Joker: Monster in the Making lithograph.  For our final pre-SDCC treat conjured up by the masterful Ross, we present a classic collage of superheroes and supervillains in Absolute Justice: Battle.

This panoramic fine art giclee reproduced on Elegance Velvet Canvas is hand-numbered, personally signed by Ross, is accompanied by an official Certificate of Authenticity, and measures in at a cape-stretching 47 3/4" x 32 1/2". The sweeping piece will premiere at San Diego Comic Con on July 18, 2018 and is limited to just 100 pieces priced at $1995 each.

Absolute Justice: Battle was originally an Alex Ross slipcover illustration for the compiled edition of his 12-issue Justice comic series titled, Absolute Justice, and lines up DC Comics’ supreme superhero team as they square off against a fierce force of their most formidable foes. This breathtaking artwork is part of a series of deluxe Alex Ross offerings called “Larger Than Life” and is printed on super-sized premium canvas.

"Since I've always liked to draw the classic lineup of the team, it's those particular versions that people associate with my art style," Ross told SYFY WIRE. "My style is a reassertion of the look and design style that I grew up with — the Justice League before they were revised or reinterpreted."

Fans and collectors unable to attend San Diego Comic Con to visit the Alex Ross Art display at Booth #2415 are highly encouraged to join the waitlist at their official site here.
