Few actors have as eclectic a resume as Doug Jones. A former contortionist, Jones has become best-known for his movement work, particularly done with his features obscured by makeup or prosthetics. You've seen him as Abe Sapien in Hellboy and Hellboy II: The Golden Army, as the Faun and the Pale Man in Pan's Labyrinth, as the body of the Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and as a list of creatures and critters too long to list here in other sci-fi, horror and fantasy fare.

I recently had the chance to chat with him about two of his more recent efforts -- his turn as Cochise in Falling Skies and his recent addition to the cast of The Strain -- and what we could expect from them, working with Guillermo del Toro, and whether there actually is a dark side lurking below that gentle exterior. Check out the interview below, and sound off with your favorite Doug Jones performance in the comments!
