Hurtling toward its finale, Boom! Comics' action science fiction series Joyride concludes with its 12th issue, which hits comic book shops next week, on April 26. Joyride is written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly, with art by Marcus To and colors by Irma Kniivila.

We've seen everything from giant space whales to planet-wide parties and angry alien beings that are thousands of years old. The joyride takes a crucial and final turn as alien life forms begin to descend onto Earth, so Catrin, Uma and Dewydd must put their heads together to save our species and give future generations a chance at survival.

Joyride manages to package the vibrant energy of its teen cast with strong dialogue to match the wild and imaginative visuals by artist Marcus To, who has shined in the spotlight throughout the entire run.  Syfy Wire was the first to offer a sneak peek of its first story over a year ago when we spoke to the creators, and we also got the exclusive scoop to show the first five pages of issue #12 below.
