The finale of Stargate Origins drops today with the final three episodes, and we have an exclusive first look at the finale of the prequel web series digging into an untold adventure through the ‘Gate.

The season up to this point has tracked the adventures of young Catherine Langford (Ellie Gall) and her traveling companions as they chase an ambitious Nazi (Aylam Orian) through the Stargate in an effort to rescue Catherine’s father (Connor Trinneer). Along the way, Catherine has found herself in the middle of an adventure steeped in the canon established in the flagship series Stargate SG-1, featuring alien baddies, staff weapons, and even some deep cuts from SG-1 lore (anyone else catch that harsesis reference?).

The 10-episode web series will drop its final two episodes this evening on the Stargate Command streaming service, and our first-look pics show a face-off brewing as Catherine tries to track down her father, plus more adventures across that mysterious alien planet. The pressure is on to land this saga in a way that provides a satisfying conclusion to the story, while also fitting it firmly back into the established canon.

For fans who might not be keen on the web series format, MGM has announced plans for a “feature cut” that will edit the 10 10-minute episodes into a film format in 4Kk Ultra HD. No word on whether it will get a physical release, but All Access members of the streaming service will be able to download the feature cut of Origins.

Check out our preview pics below, and be sure to check out the final three episodes this evening.
