Geek fashion company and lifestyle brand Her Universe has always been a hot shopping destination for fangirls (and guys) of all interests. Whether your fandom preferences lean toward Star Wars or Star Trek, Marvel or DC, there's always a way for you to rep your geek loves in style.
Since becoming a division of Hot Topic in 2016, Her Universe has been able to offer an even broader range of fangirl-focused apparel and accessories, including plus-size options available on formerly owned Hot Topic branch-off Torrid.
With their latest collection inspired by the upcoming Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Her Universe has officially made the foray into fashion inspired by video games. The line was designed by self-professed Tomb Raider fan and gamer Hannah Kent, one of the winners of the 2016 Her Universe Fashion Show. In an official statement, Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein says she enlisted Kent to spearhead the collection's design "from a fan perspective."
“If you could have told 12-year-old me that one day I would be designing a fashion line based on the adventures I couldn't finish my homework fast enough to play, I would have exploded," Kent said. "In designing this line, I wanted to embrace a bit of Lara's active lifestyle, while also giving a nod to the outdoorsy fashion style any Tomb Raider would need. My hope is that this line will help to empower fellow Tomb Raider fans to rise to their own adventures!"
All seven pieces in the collection feature a logo of the iconic ice pick Lara Croft relies on throughout her adventures in the new Square Enix games.
