There's a new school in town in SYFY WIRE's exclusive trailer for LEGO DC Super Hero Girls: Super-Villain High. The movie is based on the DC Super Hero Girls franchise created by Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment and follows last summer's LEGO DC Super Hero Girls: Brain Drain.
Featuring teenage LEGO versions of the DC characters we all know and love, the franchise follows a group of superheroes (and future supervillains) as they navigate life in high school and learn to control their powers and abilities.
In the new LEGO DC Super Hero Girls movie, "Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Supergirl, Batgirl, Katana and Bumblebee are left to deal with a new rival when a mysterious high school pops up." Mysterious indeed! But the girls soon find out that the new school isn't for superheroes, but for supervillains. It's up to our group of young superheroines to save the world, and once again it looks like they're more than up to the super challenge.
Launched in 2015, DC Super Hero Girls has become so popular among the younger crowd that the franchise has spawned a cartoon TV show and straight-to-video movies, an impressive toy line, a DC Comics series by writer Shea Fontana and artist Agnes Garbowska, coloring books, and graphic novels, as well as LEGO sets and films.
LEGO DC Super Hero Girls: Super-Villain High will be available for digital download on May 1 and on Blu-ray/DVD on May 15. Will you be adding Super-Villain High to your DC Super Hero Girls collection?
