EXCLUSIVE: Michael Fassbender on a 'colder' Magneto and James McAvoy on Xavier as a 'mess'

Magneto and Charles Xavier are the twin poles of the X-Men world - one angry and vengeful against the humans who seek to persecute mutants, and the other more interested in reconciliation. So what does it mean for these characters that we find them at the beginning of Days of Future Past in prison and occupying a run-down remnant of a school, respectively? We sat down with the actors who took up the mantles of these two classic characters in First Class, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, to get their take on their roles and why each is in a very different, and much darker, place than they were at the end of the last film.
