A Dark Multiverse of Supermans! Wonder Woman cleaving the Seven Sins in two! Batman's "Five Finger Death Punch"! AND Neil Gaiman's Dream?!
As if Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo weren't already bringing the rock to their event miniseries Dark Nights: Metal, the fourth issue — available December 20 — delivers a super-powered pyrotechnic display as our heroes are scattered across time and space (and even underwater).
But the main event seems to be taking place in the Dark Multiverse itself. After entering the realm via the Phantom Zone, Superman encounters alternate versions of himself, who — like Batman — had made different, disastrous decisions in life. He is also revealed to be the true battery for Barbatos. It is up to Bruce and his Kryptonite gauntlet to save his super-friend ... and himself.
And that's just what happens in the first couple of pages! You can have a peek at those pages below with the exclusive SYFY WIRE preview of DC Comics' Dark Nights: Metal #4 before it is available next Wednesday. The issue is written by Snyder with art and cover by Capullo and Jonathan Glapion; variant covers come courtesy John Romita, Jr., Scott Williams, Jim Lee, and Andy Kubert.
