And so we reach the end of "The Lazarus Contract" arc in the pages of Deathstroke. But the story is not entirely over yet. Just as the master assassin attempts to re-assemble his life following last month's story, a new (and yet familiar) threat emerges in the DC Comics title.

Deathstroke #20 serves as an epilogue to the three-part "Lazarus" story and is available June 7, 2017. It is written by Christopher Priest, with art by Carlo Pagulayan and Larry Hama; cover is by Lee Weeks, with a variant cover by Shane Davis. And in the exclusive Syfy Wire preview below, you can check in on Slade's current dilemma before the book drops this Wednesday (and before a whole new chapter begins in the character's life next month).

The official word:

“The Lazarus Contract” epilogue! As Deathstroke picks up the pieces of his life following the traumatic events of last month’s “The Lazarus Contract,” a threat years in the making boils to the surface when an old friend becomes a mortal foe!
