The CW’s long-running Supernatural has collected its loyal fandom over its seemingly endless tenure and, though it’s resisted being spun off, the ballad of Sam and Dean Winchester still provides plenty of easter eggs, references, and lore for its diehards to dissect — even in content that didn’t air.

That’s where we come in. SYFY WIRE has a never-before-seen deleted scene from last season of Supernatural in anticipation of Supernatural: The Complete 13th Season hitting home release.

Airing back in October of last year, the third episode of Season 13 (titled “Patience”) involves a psychic-hunting wraith that’s been feeding on those touched by the sight, which means Missouri Moseley and those near her are in danger. The scene that didn’t make the cut sees Dean and Jody Mills saying goodbye to Moseley after the former sees her for the first time in more than a decade.

Take a look:

It’s not a long scene, and it’s no wonder it was cut for time, but hearing Moseley tell Dean that his father would be proud of him and watching her expression change as they drive off adds just a little more emotional heft to the family-centric episode.

Supernatural: The Complete 13th Season can enter your home on Sept. 4.
