Hey, Chums! When it comes to the world of comic books in pop culture, you won’t find two more distinct flavors than Archie and Batman ’66. So when DC Comics and Archie Comics decided to team up and have these worlds meet, it took some inspiration. On first conception, it sounds like a crazy idea, but when you see DC superheroes crossing over with Hanna-Barbera characters, Archie and Batman ’66 doesn’t seem so far-fetched, especially when you consider the sweeter, more innocent side of the Adam West portrayal of Batman.

This crossover embraces all the goofy fun that there is to love about seeing the Riverdale gang, back in the classic Archie Comics’ house style, interacting with Batman’s rogues, vehicles, and wacky TV characters on their turf. We've got the first look at the latest issue coming out this Wednesday.

Just in time for Halloween, we have a look at Archie Meets Batman '66 #4, written by Jeff Parker and Michael Moreci, art by Dan Parent, J. Bone, Kelly Fitzpatrick, and letters by Jack Morelli. Jughead has been captured by the Joker, but the Clown Prince doesn't view him as his latest victim, but instead someone cut from the same cloth as him.

Meanwhile, back at Riverdale High, Robin goes undercover and notices every boy in school is mezmerized by a new teacher, Miss Kitka. SYFY WIRE has pages 3-7 for you to preview so you can get a taste of Jughead's first meeting with the Joker and see if the high school boys are under the spell of the Lee Meriwether Catwoman, the Eartha Kitt Catwoman or the Julie Newmar Catwoman. Either way, it's sure to be purrrrr-fect.
