Want to play a game? "The Official SAW Escape Experience" is here to help. Starting off in an abandoned meat-packing plant, guests are thrust into a maze of traps and puzzles set by the sadistic Jigsaw and his puppet alter ego, Billy.
Based in Las Vegas, the cinematic-inspired escape room is a collaboration between immersive marketing company Egan Productions (Fright Dome) and movie studio Lionsgate.
“Over the years we have become known for having one of the top haunted attractions,” said Fright Dome creator Jason Egan when the escape room was first announced in January. “Back in 2009 and 2010, I had the privilege of partnering with Lionsgate to base haunted houses on the ominous SAW films, so it was only fitting that when my team began to make plans to launch a large-scale escape experience that we again turned to one of the most popular horror franchises of all time.”
Check out two exclusive, never-before-seen photos below of SAW star Tobin Bell (John Kramer/Jigsaw) at the escape room's grand opening with Egan standing in the background.
"He was very impressed and had a great time exploring the attraction and testing out the puzzles and games," a rep for Egan Productions told SYFY WIRE.
"The second photo is our animated Billy Puppet who rides out on the trike above you to tell you the rules in this specific room. Billy was a custom sculpt, designed to look exactly like the original puppet in the films," the rep continued.
“Jason and his team have impressive attention to detail and do such great work in Las Vegas. We cannot wait for fans to step into this massive escape experience and the twisted world of the SAW franchise,” said Lionsgate’s Senior Vice President of Global Live and Location Based Entertainment Jenefer Brown.
Tickets for admission to the Escape Room range from $50 to $90. Scroll down to the media gallery below for a deeper look at the Vegas Saw Escape Room.
