BioWare has released a stunning new cinematic trailer for its upcoming video game Mass Effect: Andromeda, in celebration of N7 Day! Come have a look.
Mass Effect: Andromeda takes place 600 years after the events of the first three Mass Effect games, in the Milky Way's neighboring Andromeda Galaxy. According to the good folks at Game Informer, the game will center on the Ryder family and players will get to pick and choose between one of the two Ryder twins: Scott Ryder (voiced by Tom Taylorson) and Sarah Ryder (voiced by Fryda Wolff). Don't worry, though, picking one over the other doesn't mean the other sibling will disappear. Not at all, since both play an integral part in the story.
They are the kids of N7 Agent Alec Ryder — voiced by the always awesome Clancy Brown (who also narrates the trailer) — a Pathfinder like Commander Shepard, who is on a mission to discover new planets suitable for human colonization. Players will explore the galaxy in an open world environment while on board the starship
Enterprise Tempest. According to the site, there's a mystery tied to the Ryder family players discover over the course of the game. I don't know about you guys, but I love me a good old-fashioned mystery.
The journey to Andromeda begins now. Navigate the uncharted reaches of the Andromeda Galaxy to unravel its mysteries, discover vivid alien worlds, and lead the charge to find a new home among the stars. How far will you go to become humanity’s hero?
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One in the spring of 2017. Take a look at the amazing cinematic trailer below (it's totally gorgeous), and let us know what you think. Will you be picking this one up?
