Doctor Strange may be opening in just 3 days (unless you’re counting Thursday night, then it’s 2 days), it didn’t stop Marvel from releasing a new mind-bending extended 2-minute clip from the movie starring Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme.

The clip below features a scene that takes place in Stephen Strange’s home base of New York City, where he and Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) are on the run from the villainous Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen) and his evil followers. Seeing the city fold upon itself Inception-style as reality bends all around the characters during the chase scene is rather spectacular. I’m sure it’s going to be a sight to behold on IMAX 3D! Especially since the visuals have been touted as being the best Marvel has produced so far. Check it out:

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilising a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

Directed by Scott Derrikson (Sinister), Doctor Strange also stars Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Benedict Wong as Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West and Benjamin Bratt. It opens this coming Friday (Nov. 4).
