Exterminate this: Are ALL Daleks set to return on Doctor Who?

Guess we truly haven't the last of those pesky evil space pepperpots, the Daleks, on Doctor Who! While we knew the Doctor's (Matt Smith) most enduring mortal enemies were set for a return appearance in the upcoming seventh season of the show (we did see a Dalek eyestalk in the first preview trailer last week), it appears that we may get to see more of them than we thought.

The BBC has just released some teaser pics and has also revealed that ALL the Daleks (including the fresher, newer, bigger and more colorful models from the season-five episode "Victory of the Daleks" — models that fans happen not to like very much) were making their big comeback on the show.

Not much had been confirmed about the Doctor's forthcoming adventures but we think it's safe to say we can expect to see the return of perhaps the Doctor's most legendary foe. Here are some sneaky pictures fresh from the set of Doctor Who where the Daleks are being wheeled before the cameras once again. But which design? The answer is ALL OF THEM!

According to Doctor Who TV, the reveal that all Dalek models will be seen in a forthcoming adventure fits in with something Who showrunner Steven Moffat said in the first edition of The Brilliant Book:

"We're not going to lose the old Daleks. We're keeping them. They're coming back. We'll just use them all at once, and have different ranks. All I've done is give the Daleks an officer class."

This could, in turn, support some speculations that a war between the older traditional Daleks and the newer versions could take place.

What do you think? Are you guys excited (or not) about the return of the Daleks? Do you think a war is inevitable between the older and newer versions of our killer space pepperpots? In the meanwhile, check out the BBC's ''sneaky pictures fresh from the set,'' and get ready to be exterminated!
