Ahead of the return of Star Wars Rebels this coming Saturday, Disney XD has released a brand-new clip and 15 new images from the upcoming Season 3 premiere of the animated series, "Steps Into Shadow."

The new clip features Ezra (Taylor Gray) getting "counsel" from the Sith Holocron (which promptly whispers sweet nothings in his ear), the dangerous artefact Kanan's (Freddie Prinze Jr.) young apprentice found inside the Sith temple on Malachor and opened during the dramatic Season 2 finale, tapping into the dark side of the Force.

Season 3 will also see the introduction of the Bendu, played by Doctor Who’s Tom Baker, the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Mandalorian warrior Bo-Katan Kryze (voiced by Katee Sackhoff), and the grand entrance into the official Star Wars canon of Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen). Yasss! Are we Saturday yet?

Having established a secret base on Atollon, the Ghost crew, now led by a more powerful Ezra, strengthens the rebel fleet by acquiring new resources and recruits eager to stand against the Empire. However, the Imperial efforts to eliminate the rebellion are now being led by the coldly analytical Grand Admiral Thrawn, whose strategic, tactical and cultural insights make him a threat unlike any they have faced before. In season three, Ezra and Sabine take on new roles and challenges as the rebels prepare for their biggest mission yet – a direct assault on the Empire.

Star Wars Rebels will return full force on Disney XD on Sept. 24.
