Some were expecting a new Elder Scrolls game; some were expecting a Fallout 3 port to the Nintendo Switch. Instead, gamers got what nobody was expecting from Bethesda Game Studios: a new Fallout game.

Fallout: 76 has a teaser and, while there’s not much information out there beyond the trailer announcement, the online game has plenty of character.

Take a look:

Taking a note from the past year in movies, the game’s radio hums “Take Me Home, Country Roads” as the post-apocalyptic fallout shelter imagery also features the 300-year anniversary of the United States -- hence the ‘76 of the title.

We’ll see more of the game at Bethesda’s E3 press conference on June 10, which you can watch at 6:30 p.m. Pacific either in person in Los Angeles or live-streamed on their YouTube or Twitch channels.
