Face it—if you had this dream-screen setup in your pad you'd never see the light of day again. (And we'd be right beside you.) So take a soft seat, settle in and feel the Force flow inside a wild techno-temple devoted strictly to the cinema of Star Wars.
Who needs another gourmet kitchen or second waterfall pool when you can bask in the luxury of a custom movie theater resembling the Death Star command deck, decorated with posters, statues and memorabilia from the entire Star Wars saga?
That's exactly what crossed the nerdy minds of two former Star Wars Fan Club presidents when they designed this most impressive screening room in their Seattle estate, complete with a life-sized Boba Fett, Han Solo frozen in carbonite and rare framed one-sheets. A memorabilia section and arcade area contain dangling spaceship models and Star Wars-themed pinball machines. No quarters required.
Step inside, where a Runco VX5C 3-Chip DLP Projector sends sweet visions of Hoth onto a monster screen paired with a THX surround-sound system of Meridian speakers. Try not to drool on those 10 epic Cinematech Valentino Chairs stretching back 20 feet to the rear wall, as lights dim and the Imperial March thunders overhead. Shut off your cell and gaze with devotion to the Lucas legacy as the opening crawl begins.
Design and construction of this awesome installation was done by Dillon Works of Mukilteo, Wash. Its projection and sound system was installed by Definitive Audio in Bellevue, Wash. Crack open that R2-D2 piggy bank and get yours started soon.
Until then, check out the sheer awe of the coolest private theater this side of the galaxy.
