For film buffs who have always wanted to spend upwards of $25K on a single movie prop, you’re in luck!
As part of this new section, Fandango has partnered with Universal Studios to feature official prop replicas molded from original on-screen props from the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World films, made on the Universal Studios backlot.
The items for sale include a one-of-a-kind Jurassic World Indominus rex head replica for the low-low price of $24,999.99.
If for some reason that’s too steep for you — what, you don’t have a 401(k) to dip into? — how about a Jurassic Park Baby Velociraptor Prop Replica for only $849.99?
So obviously those items are on the more high-priced end of the spectrum for hardcore fans with seriously disposable income. Other items, such as a limited-edition Jurassic Park Island of Isla Nublar Map replica for nearly $100, are more affordable.
“FanShop is delighted to launch its new Prop Shop in collaboration with Universal Studios and their incredible artists,” said Holly Rawlinson, vice president of marketing, merchandising and licensing for Fandango FanShop in a statement. “Our goal is to deliver authentic prop replicas that will help fans relive the thrills of their favorite films, while building excitement for upcoming theatrical releases.”
Each item comes with a signed certificate of authenticity issued by Universal Studios that includes the product number in the series.
These items are being pre-sold on this new page within Fandango’s merchandise store in connection with the upcoming release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which opens on June 22.
