Comic book fans will get a chance to meet up with creators — and immortalize those meetings — at New York Comic-Con this weekend, thanks to ComiXology.

The digital comic shopping and reading service is expanding upon its popular Comic Book All Star Trading Cards service with this year's edition of its photo booth, located in Hall 1E at the Javits Center. There, in addition to being able to take their own solo photos all weekend long, fans will be able to get snaps taken with their favorite comic book creators during specified times.

Fans will receive a print of the photo as well as a digital version of their card to share via social media. Writers and artists who will participate in the photo ops include Scott Snyder (Batman), Charles Soule (Letter 44), Walt Simonson (Thor), Marjorie Liu (Monstress), Dustin Nguyen (Descender), Sanford Greene (Power Man and Iron Fist), Jeremy Whitley (Princeless), Katie Cook (My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic), and many more (check the full schedule at the booth).

ComiXology co-founder and CEO David Steinberger said, “We’ve had incredible success with our Comic Book All Stars Trading Cards ... In the next evolution, we’re putting the focus on our amazing fans to show our appreciation and celebrate them by making them a part of these fun Comic Book All Stars Trading Cards."

In addition to producing the fourth edition of the Trading Cards series (which debuted in July 2016 at San Diego Comic-Con), ComiXology is also sponsoring Artist Alley at this year's NYCC as well as hosting three panels, all in Room 1B03: "The Real True Origins of ComiXology" on Friday, October 6, from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m; "The Legacy of Harvey Kurtzman and Behind-the–Scenes of Marley's Ghost" on Saturday, October 7, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; and "Start Reading Comics! Handpicked Comics Recommendations" on Sunday, October 8, from noon - 1:00 p.m.

New York Comic Con takes place at the Javits Convention Center in New York City from October 5-8.
