The Razzie Awards are in, and if you thought they’d be going after the low-hanging fruit, you were right.

Overall, the 2015 edition of the annual Razzie Awards put a hard focus on the softcore box-office hit Fifty Shade of Grey, though a few big sci-fi flops were also well represented on the list. Stalwart turd manufacturer Adam Sandler also pulled in his fair share of nominations thanks to Pixels and The Cobbler (though no wins, surprisingly). Again, we’re talking about the lowest of low-hanging fruit.

As for the sci-fi fare, Fantastic Four tied with Fifty Shades of Grey for “Worst Picture”; Jupiter Ascending’s Eddie Redmayne won “Worst Supporting Actor”; Big Bang Theory alum Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting won for her two roles in Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip and The Wedding Ringer; Fantastic Four won Worst Remake/Rip-Off or Sequel; and Josh Trank won for worst director for the mess that was Fantastic Four

Most of these picks are no surprise, and though it might seem a bit on the nose, Fantastic Four is certainly a worthy choice for “Worst Picture.” It’s hard to forget just how much of a total creative mess that movie turned out to be. Ugh. As for Jupiter Ascending, it was also an ugly affair, and Redmayne’s performance was certainly one of the worst things about it.

What do you think of the sci-fi fare that made the cut? Anything missing?
