Netflix has finally unleashed the power of the Iron Fist by releasing the first full trailer for the new Marvel series.
Iron Fist will see the introduction of the final piece of the Defenders puzzle in Danny Rand (Finn Jones), aka Iron Fist (also known as the Living Weapon). The trailer below features plenty of new footage (including some cool martial arts scenes) and shows the return of Daredevil's Madame Gao (Wai Ching Ho) and The Hand. We also have more of the Meachums, a look at the death of Danny's folks, loads more Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) and Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) and other awesome stuff.
The street-level superhero series from showrunner Scott Buck (Marvel's The Inhumans) also stars Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Lewis Tan as Zhou Cheng and Simone Missick as Misty Knight.
Oh, and guys, be sure to stick around right until the very end of the trailer to see Danny-boy unleash the full power of the Iron Fist. I may have wept a little.
Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family's legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.
All 13 episodes of Marvel's Iron Fist will stream on Netflix on March 17.
