It’s been more than six months since Archie Comics’ Chilling Adventures of Sabrina made its creepy debut, and now we finally have a peek at issues 2-3.
A companion book to the hit Afterlife With Archie series, Sabrina debuted to critical raves in October of last year then went on hiatus ever since while the comic company lined up its plans for the Archie Horror imprint. With that deal finally done, both Afterlife and Sabrina should return to store shelves soon. Here's proof.
These preview pages show the delay has done nothing to dilute the terrifying, bloody awesomeness of Sabrina, and is seems issue two will even be “extra-long” to make up for the inexcusable delay. Writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa told Comic Book Resources they wanted to give readers “a little more bang for their buck,” while also revealing “the secret-origin of 'Madam Satan,' who is going to be our big-bad these first few issues.” So yeah, it’s taken a while, but they’re diving headfirst into the mythology.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is set to hit shelves on April 15. Check out the preview pages below and let us know if you’ll be reading.
