20th Century Fox has released the first colorful trailer and poster for DreamWorks Animation’s newest animated movie, Trolls.

The musical comedy hails from the team that brought us Shrek Forever After -- it’s directed by Mike Mitchell, co-directed by Walt Dohrn and produced by Gina Shay -- and stars Justin Timberlake as pessimistic troll Branch (Timberlake acts as executive music producer and provided original music for the movie), Anna Kendrick as the super peppy Princess Poppy, James Corden as Biggie, Russell Brand as Creek, Gwen Stefani as DJ Suki, Kunal Nayyar as Guy Diamond and more.

Here’s an official description for the upcoming movie:

From the creators of Shrek comes the most smart, funny, irreverent animated comedy of the year, DreamWorks’ Trolls. This holiday season, enter a colorful, wondrous world populated by hilariously unforgettable characters and discover the story of the overly optimistic Trolls, with a constant song on their lips, and the comedicly pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have trolls in their stomach.

I'll admit it. The whole thing put a huge smile on my face this morning. The trailer is colorful and boasts a catchy tune performed by Justin Timberlake. Also, how many movies boast a character that actually poops cupcakes? Ha ha!

Trolls will open in movie theaters on Nov. 4.
