Marvel Comics is gearing up for the debut of the new superhero series Mosaic, and now we have a first look at the new Inhuman hero.

Announced a few months ago, the series focuses on professional basketball player Morris Sackett, who is transformed into an Inhuman after coming into contact with the Terrigen Mists. He gains the ability to jump from person to person like a ghost, and can control the bodies and memories of those he inhabits. But these abilities come at a grave cost.

Mosaic made his debut in Uncanny Inhumans, and the standalone series will be written by Geoffrey Thorne (Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man), with art by Khary Randolph (Deadpool: The Gauntlet). Mosaic also got a free, introductory 10-page prelude story to help set the stage.

The first issue of Mosaic hits shelves Oct. 12.
