The first pic from production on DC’s Wonder Woman film has leaked out, and it gives us a peek at Star Trek alum Chris Pine as legendary comic character Steve Trevor.

The photo was apparently posted by the film’s co-star Said Taghmaoui, and clearly shows Pine wearing an outfit that seems to fit around the World War II era. There have been persistent rumblings indicating the spinoff would be partially set in the past, and it would seem Trevor could exist in that era. Of course, there’s always the chance we’re taking this one completely out of context, but that’s at least what it looks like.

In the comic canon, Trevor was originally introduced as a U.S. military intelligence officer who is stranded in Wonder Woman's homeland. The two grow very close, and he’s a frequent love interest for Wonder Woman. In later comic adaptations, Trevor has served as a liaison to the Justice League, and has often been a hero in his own right. Obviously, we don’t know much about where they’ll be taking Steve on the big screen. The film-verse is taking some inspiration from the New 52, so perhaps a cross between the throwback era and modern-day hero?

Wonder Woman is tentatively set to open June 23, 2017.
