Following yesterday’s first look at the Royal Family, Marvel has debuted a teaser trailer for the Inhumans TV series.

Sadly, the teaser doesn’t feature any footage from the series, but we have our first bits of dialogue, which reveal a *drum roll please* brotherly betrayal.

As the video slowly reveals the logo, we hear Iwan Rheon’s Maximus plot against his brother Black Bolt (Anson Mount). He’s being confronted by a female character who may or may not be Crystal (Isabelle Cornish), saying what he’s talking about is treason. To which Maximus answers: “What I’m talking about is freedom. Freedom for all Inhumans.”

In Marvel’s Inhumans, after the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.

Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan as Queen Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran and Isabelle Cornish as Crystal.

The series from showrunner Scott Buck (Iron Fist) is slated to premiere the first two episodes exclusively in IMAX theaters for a limited two-week run kicking off on Sept. 1. Marvel’s Inhumans will then debut on ABC in the fall with some additional and exclusive network content.
