The first poster for the upcoming reboot of the Tomb Raider movie, based on the Tomb Raider video game franchise, has been released. It looks similar — but not exactly so — to the cover art of the 2013 Crystal Dynamics video game.

Alicia Vikander will star as Tomb Raider Lara Croft, a young woman on a mission to the lost island of Yamatai. The film will be based on the 2013 game, which was without doubt one of the most fun adventure games I’ve played. Think Uncharted with estrogen.

It even has abandoned civilizations whose artwork—and scenes of torture—are scattered around the island for Lara to uncover. Meanwhile, the island isn’t nearly as empty as Lara and her friends initially believe.

Lara’s most recent adventure, the 2016 Rise of the Tomb Raider, was equally enjoyable.

Vikander wowed audiences with her portrayal as Ava in Ex Machina, a robot whom the protagonist administers a Turing test to. She was more than just an alluring face. She was strong and capable. I have no doubt she’ll play Lara Croft with those same wonderful qualities.

Tomb Raider will be released on March 16, 2018. The full trailer drops tomorrow.
