After wowing us with his recent performances in FX’s Legion, Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast and indie movies The Ticket and Colossal, Dan Stevens’ next cinematic project will be that of a pilot in a race to save the world from colliding parallel universes in Kill Switch. And we have the first teaser trailer.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Stevens will play Will Porter, “a pilot and physicist who must save humanity after an experiment to harness parallel universes goes wrong.” First-time director Tim Smit will be taking the helm of the sci-fi movie based on his short What’s in the Box? Written by Omid Nooshin (Last Passengers) and Charlie Kindinger (Who Stole the Electric Car?), Kill Switch also stars Bérénice Marlohe (Skyfall), Tygo Gernandt (Black Death), and Charity Wakefield (Doctor Who “The Return of Doctor Mysterio”).

You won’t have to wait long to see Kill Switch. The movie will be available on Ultra VOD on May 19, and in select theaters and VOD on June 16.
