Sure, we’ve seen haunted houses before, but we haven’t walked the halls of “the most haunted house in the world." Until now. The first Winchester: The House That Ghosts Built trailer gives us a tantalizingly spooky peek inside the real-life seven-story, 161-room, Queen Anne style Victorian mansion, which many people believe to be haunted by the ghosts of those killed by gun magnate William Wirt Winchester’s repeating rifles.

The Winchester Mystery House is now a tourist attraction in San Jose, California, where Michael and Peter Spierig (Jigsaw, Predestination) filmed parts of their upcoming supernatural thriller starring Helen Mirren and Jason Clarke.

Mirren plays Winchester’s widow, Sarah, who believed she’d be haunted by the vengeful souls brought down by Winchester rifles unless she kept building on the isolated plot. In the film, inspired by true events, Jason Clarke plays the renowned Dr. Eric Price, who we see in the trailer being summoned by representatives of the Winchester Repeating Arms Company, which Sarah owns the majority stake in, ostensibly because they’re “worried about her sanity.”

After Price goes to examine the widow and her ever-expanding home, his own sanity comes into question, as the house appears to be very much haunted indeed. Is it the most haunted? We’ll see when Winchester: The House That Ghosts Built hits theaters Feb. 2, 2018.

Check out the trailer and full synopsis below, then let us know if you’re officially haunted.

Here's the official synopsis:

Inspired by true events. On an isolated stretch of land 50 miles outside of San Francisco sits the most haunted house in the world. Built by Sarah Winchester, (Academy Award®-winner Helen Mirren) heiress to the Winchester fortune, it is a house that knows no end. Constructed in an incessant twenty-four hour a day, seven day a week mania for decades, it stands seven stories tall and contains hundreds of rooms. To the outsider it looks like a monstrous monument to a disturbed woman's madness. But Sarah is not building for herself, for her niece (Sarah Snook) or for the brilliant Doctor Eric Price (Jason Clarke) whom she has summoned to the house. She is building a prison, an asylum for hundreds of vengeful ghosts, and the most terrifying among them have a score to settle with the Winchesters ...
