Ahead of Rings' theatrical debut this coming Friday, Paramount has unleashed the first terrifying three minutes from the upcoming horror movie, as well as a brand new clip.

In the opening minutes of the third entry of the Ring movie franchise, that guy from The Vampire Diaries (Zach Roerig) is being hunted down by Samara on a plane full of people. Since he's stuck in a flying sardine can, several thousand feet in the air, there's nowhere to run for the poor guy (not that he could ever escape the vengeful spirit!).

As for the clip, it features The Big Bang Theory’s Johnny Galecki having the very bad idea of watching the original VHS tape (dude, even if the tape says "Watch Me," just don't, m'kay? Have you learned nothing from horror movies?).

Check it all out below and let us know what you think. Rings opens on Feb. 3.
