Marvel has released a first clip from tomorrow's episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which reveals Fitz’s (Iain De Caestecker) new identity as a “vile space marauder of unlimited wealth.” You knew something big would be going down when the man who plays Coulson himself (Clark Gregg) is directing the episode, right?

Titled “Fun and Games,” tomorrow’s installment sees Daisy (Chloe Bennet) in danger when she’s thrown into the Inhuman fighting pit by Kree leader Kasius (Dominic Rains) where she has to fight to the death against Sinara (Florence Faivre) in what will be a brutal brawl for Bennet.

The sneak peek below takes place between Fitz and Enoch (Joel Stoffer) where the two discuss how Enoch actually had a lot of fun creating Fitz’s new identity as a marauder who just so happens to be the most dangerous man in the room they’re in. Which is evidenced by that bejeweled broach he wears that signifies the number of lives Fitz has apparently taken, something Fitz finds a bit odd because of all the little “rhinestones” on it. It’s a nice piece of banter between the two characters until Fitz claps eyes on someone near and dear to him.

Gregg teased in a recent interview that “Fun and Games” is “a big episode with some big stuff,” adding that “It was like doing a mini-Marvel movie. It's that episode, as people will see, that's a little bit like our version of Downton Abbey meets a very bloody, sci-fi version of Gladiator.” Which sounds like a super fun concept for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., don’t you guys think? It’s going to be interesting to see how that plays out.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns Friday, Jan. 5, on ABC.
