Flash Forward teasers lead to viral Web site

As previously reported, ABC aired five brief images during the 100th episode of Lost last night, each with the question: What did you see?

The images—a surfer, a sonogram, schoolchildren, a wedding and a funeral—were viral promotion for Flash Forward, ABC's sci-fi pilot based on Robert J. Sawyer's novel, which is expected to become a new series and companion to Lost in the fall.

ABC has also put up a viral Web site, TheMosaicCollective.com, which at the moment only asks the same question and accepts the user's e-mail address, presumably in order to send updates.

Like Sawyer's novel, the show will deal with the aftermath of a cataclysmic event: Everyone on Earth blacks out for a little over two minutes, during which time they have a glimpse of their future. The show is executive-produced by David Goyer and Brannon Braga, who previously collaborated on CBS' short-lived sci-fi series Threshold. The pilot stars Joseph Fiennes, Lost's Sonya Walger, Courtney B. Vance, Christine Woods and Star Trek's John Cho.
