We may not have seen the last of Ronnie Raymond, aka Firestorm, on The CW’s Flash yet.

Actor Robbie Amell posted this perhaps-not-so-cryptic pic of himself with Franz Drameh on his Instagram account, saying “Firestorm is in great hands. But I'll be back.” Both look to be on set.

Drameh will show up in next week’s episode of The Flash in the role of Jay Jackson, to take the place of Ronnie Raymond, who sacrificed himself and apparently "died" in the Season 2 premiere by helping Barry (Grant Gustin) close the singularity. Jackson will be brought on board by Team Flash in order to save Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber), the other half of the fiery superhero, who collapsed at the end of this week's episode.

There are a lot of speculation that Ronnie did not actually die and that he ended up on one of the alternate Earths (probably Earth-2) created by the wormhole. There's also the possibility we could see a verison of Ronnie Raymond from a parallel Earth. Regardless: With the creation of a stable, interdimensional portal (aka the "Speed Cannon") between our Earth-1 and Earth-2, Ronnie's return seems imminent.

The Flash airs Tuesday nights on The CW. What do you think?
