You might already be done binge-watching Netflix’s new She-Ra and the Princesses of Power series and are anxiously waiting for news about a second season. While there’s no word yet, you can at least look forward to a fun new book for kids set for release next year staring the princess of power!
The classic Little Golden Books series is revisiting not just She-Ra, but also He-Man in two releases planned for 2019. I Am She-Ra! will be written by John Sazaklis and illustrated by Shane Chester. The book is based on the original She-Ra TV series and “tells the story of He-Man's twin sister, Princess Adora, and how she became the mighty She-Ra.” The synopsis states the book will appeal to new fans and fans of the classic show as the hero “is a brave, loyal, and empowering warrior princess for fans young and old.”
Joining this book is I Am He-Man! also illustrated by Chester, but written by Frank Berrios. This Little Golden Book is based on the original He-Man TV series and toys as well. According to the synopsis, it “introduces He-Man and all his heroic friends as they battle the evil wizard known as Skeletor!”
Both books are meant for ages 2 to 5 and are set for a July 2, 2019 release.
