Just when we thought we couldn't love Arrow any more, they go and pull a stunt like this. The action drama's already cast Torchwood, Stargate SG-1 and Farscape stars—and now it's moving on to Fringe!

Guess who's coming to Starling City? Seth Gabel ... or should we call him the man who would be Vertigo? The former Fringe agent (Lincoln Lee) is eyeing the villainous role for later this season. As we previously mentioned, this version of the character is drastically different from the comics.

The most noticeable change is his name. He won't go by Vertigo. That will actually be the street name for a new drug that's being smuggled into the city. Also, his aesthetic is totally different. He's not a count, but a "truly scary and nightmarish" adversary. He'll be one of Oliver's deadliest rivals to date. And that's saying a lot!

Gabel makes his Big Bad debut early next year.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Are you looking forward to Gabel's appearance?
