Even though Halloween is over, there's still plenty to look forward to in the halls of horror as the holidays approach.  Here's an intense set of newly released images and a clip from director Paul McGuigan's (Lucky Number Slevin, Push) Victor Frankenstein, with James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe tinkering in the laboratory and anguishing over some monstrous unseen menace.  Written by director John Landis' son, Max Landis (Chronicle), this fresh interpretation of the immortal classic about the perils of creation and its unfathomable responsibilities also stars Andrew Scott, Mark Gatiss, Jessica Brown Findlay, Freddie Fox and Callum Turner.

Here's the official synopsis via 20th Century Fox:

Radical scientist Victor Frankenstein (McAvoy) and his equally brilliant protégé, Igor Strausman (Radcliffe), share a noble vision of aiding humanity through their groundbreaking research into immortality. But Victor’s experiments go too far, and his obsession has horrifying consequences. Only Igor can bring his friend back from the brink of madness and save him from his monstrous creation.

Check out this festive new clip, entitled Life Is Beautiful, and the gallery of images below, and let us know if you're hungering for this latest feast of Frankenstein.

Victor Frankenstein stomps into theaters on Nov. 25, 2015.
